Made from 100% rubber, these soft mats are ideal around swings and slides, playhouses and playcentres or as general protection mats for lawns. They're approved to British Safety Standards to a safe fall height of 3.3m (over 10 ft). Suitable for either large or small areas, just lay directly onto the grass - they simply clip together - to fit the area required. For perfect fits, you can even cut short or round off with scissors or a 'Stanley Knife' type tool. There are grips underneath the mat to keep in place, and holes to keep the grass living. They have anti-slip properties and are great as outdoor walkway mats too. It's environmentally friendly too, as the 'Dunweedin' Playground Rubber Chippings are made from recycled aircraft and agricultural tyres that and are 100% wire free.With full BSEN 1177:1998 Play Grade approval, these soft rubber chippings need less depth than other play area surfaces. Just 2 inches (50mm) depth is sufficient for falls up to 6ft (1.5M). This bumper 500 Kilo (1.1 Cubic Metre) bag will provide 22 metres of coverage at 2inches.It's also long lasting (over 15 years), is very quick drying (it doesn't absorb water) and is treated with 'Citronella' to deter pets. Available in a variety of fun colours to suit your garden. Additional bags available separately.
